The 2017 Ford Edge is offered in four distinct trim levels. The following is a list of the trim levels and their associated features:
- Edge SE – For a base trim, the SE brings a lot of features to the table. The SE provides a rear privacy glass, 18-inch alloy wheels, voice commands, LED taillights, a CD player, Ford’s Sync system, 60/40-split folding and reclining rear seatbacks, automatic headlights, app-integration such as Pandora and Spotify, an active grille shutter, Bluetooth® audio and phone connectivity, a tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel with shift paddles, voice recognition, remote locking and unlocking, dual exhaust tips, a six-speaker sound system, a 4.2-inch central display screen, an acoustic windshield, 911 assist, auxiliary inputs, air-conditioning, cruise control, USB inputs, a rearview camera, and a height-adjustable driver seat.
- Edge SEL – The SEL trim comes with dual-zone automatic climate control, upgraded cloth upholstery, rear parking sensors, LED headlight accents, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, an eight-way power-adjustable driver seat, an exterior keyless entry pad, satellite radio, rear parking sensors, heated exterior mirrors with puddle lamps, and a six-way power-adjustable passenger seat. Also, the SEL can be equipped with Equipment Group 201A which adds a nine-speaker audio system, an 8-inch touchscreen, an additional USB port, leather upholstery, heated front seats, and the Sync 3 infotainment system.
- Edge Titanium – The Titanium gains the features mentioned above, as well as a LED taillight bar, HD radio, upgraded interior trim, 19-inch wheels, a 12-speaker Sony audio system, ambient interior lighting, noise-reducing front windows, a hands-free liftgate, front sport seats, and an eight-way power-adjustable front passenger seat with lumbar adjustment.
- Edge Sport– This top trim adds a sport-tuned suspension, a power-adjustable steering wheel, 20-inch wheels, variable-ratio steering, perforated leather and simulated suede upholstery, a power-adjustable steering wheel, and a turbocharged 2.7-liter V6 engine.
The Ford Edge can also be equipped with a variety of packages. Some of the packages are:
- Technology package – This package comes with remote start, blind-spot monitoring, a 110-volt power outlet, an auto-dimming driver side mirror, rear cross-traffic alert, and a navigation system.
- Cold Weather package – This package adds a windshield wiper de-icer, a heated steering wheel, and all-weather floor mats.
- Equipment Group 301A – This provides heated rear seats, a panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, and more.
- Equipment Group 302A – Several safety features are added here which are xenon headlights, automatic wipers, lane departure warning, an 18-degree front camera, automatic high beam control, and an automated parking system.
